Letters to Mortgage Research Center

Nathan,

I wanted to express my gratitude for your assistance during our home purchasing process. I am an Army veteran and my husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan. I found vamortgagecenter.com while researching home loans for our first home. I submitted my request through the website late at night and by the next morning, Ryan Harrison had contacted me. Right from the start, Ryan answered all of my many questions, assured me that he would take care of me and informed me that I was under no obligation to use Mortgage Research Center for my loan. Before speaking with Ryan, I was almost positive that I had chosen a different company for our loan, so it made me feel comfortable that I was able to research other options to find the best fit for my family.

It didn't take long for me to realize that Mortgage Research Center could do more for me than any of the other companies that I had researched; I just didn't realize how much MRC would do for me. I was able to get pre-qualified and pre-approved for my loan before I traveled across the country to find the right home for my family. The first complications in our home purchasing process started with our Real Estate Agent. When I expressed my concern to Ryan that I felt out of the loop and that I was not being included in the decision-making process, he took steps to correct the situation. When our agent did not want to take steps to help us, Ryan would. Although we had a difficult and complicated process, Ryan made it as smooth as possible for us. I know that we were not his only customer, but Ryan made me feel like my family was.

It made my husband and I feel even more comfortable when we were able to meet Ryan while we were driving across the country. Although we did not give him much notice that we'd be driving through Missouri, Ryan dropped everything and took us out to lunch.

Every promise that Ryan had made us, he kept. I felt comfortable doing business with Ryan Harrison and Mortgage Research Center because he conducts business the way both my family and I conduct business, the way you would expect someone to conduct business. We have already insisted that our friends only go with Mortgage Research Center for their home purchases. For our future purchases, we will definitely use MRC. The only difference I would make for our next purchase is to use a Real Estate Agent that is recommended through Mortgage Research Center.

Dear Mr. Long,

15 minutes after filling out a form on your website on Saturday October 27, 2007, I was contacted by Dan Bartelt regarding a home that I wanted to purchase. I explained to Mr. Bartelt that I had a contract on a home and that I had already been approved to purchase this home from other lenders. In the interest of time, I was concerned about whether it was too late to start the VA loan process due to a December 3rd closing date. However, from the very first conversation that I had with Mr. Bartelt, I felt that I was in better hands with him than I was with any of the other lenders I had previously worked with. The other lenders that I worked with previous to Mr. Bartelt were Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual, Professional Mortgage Partners and Chase Home loans. After taking some personal and financial information from me, I received a call back from Mr. Bartelt. He assured me that he didn't see any reason why we would not be able to meet the deadlines required to comply with the contract for purchasing this home.

From that point on, Mr. Bartelt did exactly everything he said he would do throughout the whole process of the purchase. This is hard to find because many lenders don't do this and only tell you things that they think you want to hear. Also, it can be close to impossible to have a strong channel of consistent communication with a lender. Many lenders don't return calls in a timely manner or make it seem as if you are burdening them with questions. I never felt that I was a burden to Mr. Bartelt. Not one time. He was courteous and helpful in every way.

As I worked with Mr. Bartelt on a daily basis for over 5 weeks, he walked me through every step of the VA loan process. He ensured that everything in the process was taken care of and followed up with me daily. If I had questions, he explained clearly. If I called him and he was unavailable, he returned my call promptly. If I were concerned about something, he would either follow up with that concern by contacting whomever it was that I was concerned about or he would explain what I didn't understand. He was polite and professional at all times with everyone involved including realtors, attorneys, and inspectors.

In my fifteen years of working in professional environments, I am extremely and utterly impressed with Mr. Bartelt. He is truly an amazing asset for Mortgage Research Center. It is my strong recommendation that Mr. Bartelt be recognized for his excellent communication skills, his willingness to do whatever it takes to make the process of purchasing a home pleasurable, his professionalism, and his impeccable customer service skills. I have never had such a great experience making a purchase. Thank You!

My family and I would like to highlight our exceptional experience that we had with your company. Ben Choi was awesome in helping us with our house purchasing experience. We didn't have the greatest of credit and many obstacles presented themselves, but Ben never gave up and just kept presenting us with alternatives and advice. My husband and I would like to inform you of the pleasant experience we had working with Jake Vehiege in obtaining a home. This was our first home purchase so there was a lot that we did not know about in regards to financing a home and all of the paperwork that comes with it. From the first conversation we had with Jake, he really seemed to be genuinely looking out for our best interest. Our situation was bit difficult because of the short time frame we requested to close on our home. Jake consistently kept us informed, he always made himself available even if it was on the weekends and he worked diligently with our real estate agent in transferring the necessary paperwork back and forth in an efficient manner. Our intentions were to send this a lot sooner, but as you probably know we've been quite busy getting settled into our new home. My VA finance became complicated and took over three months to complete. Throughout this entire process Maha and Jonathan Lucas provided excellent service. My situation was difficult and provided them challenges. They were kind and patient. They were always honest and told me the things I needed to complete and what to expect. I finally closed on the house on Friday evening without a hitch.

I know we are all too often quick to spread the word when bad things happen and too quick to forget when good things happen. Dear Patrick,

First off, I would like to take the time and say "Thank You" for all your efforts in helping Fernando and I get into our first home. The whole process was one we will never forget. I don't think words can express the gratitude we have towards you and your fantastic Customer Service you provided to us, from the very beginning to the very end. I know there were so many things that couldn't have been done without you. Staying persistent and ahead of the game helped Fernando and I come out head. Fernando and I enjoyed the phone conversations and just the friendliness you brought to the table every time we talked even if it was early in the morning or late at night. We always knew that no matter how rough the situation got, you always gave it to us straight and there was never a crack in your voice. I know I am going to miss our phone conversations that we had on trying to get the house closed. I told Brenda on Thursday that we were missing one person and that was you.
